About Dunsborough Junior Soccer Club

Dunsborough Junior Soccer Club is a community minded organisation with a vision that ensures the continued development of football facilities for all current and future Dunsborough generations. The club works closely with the Leeuwin Naturalist Junior Soccer Association (LNJSA)and City Of Busselton Council to ensure the Dunsborough’s sporting facilities are developed with this vision in mind.

Dunsborough JSC welcomes new members and wishes that all junior players and parents have a great experience meeting new friends and enjoying what is a fantastic sport.

Our Junior Competition comprises mixed teams from 5 to 17 years.

Our Home Ground

Dunsborough Junior Soccer Club home games are played on the Dunsborough Playing Fields in Dunsborough Lakes.

We have both full sized FIFA, youth sized and SSF pitches. See map here

Canteen and first aid facilities are available.

Training occurs weekday nights on the Dunsborough Playing Fields (Most often Tuesday through Thursday). Usually between 4 – 6pm.

Times are set by individual coaches.

Training and learning the art of playing soccer is fun and a chance for children to bond with other children in a team environment. We encourage kids to attend all training sessions to get the most out of being part of a team and learning the rules of soccer.

The club encourages all players to have their own correct size football. As players learn skills it is best if they can practice these skills at home as well.

  • Under 6, 7, and 9 Size 3
  • Under 10, 11, 12, 13 Size 4
  • Under 14, 15, 17 Size 5

Our Mission & Vision

Dunsborough Junior Soccer Club’s aim is to create a safe, fun environment for all children to learn how to play soccer.

We aim to teach children the technical skills in a game-based environment through training and games and focus on technical development, decision making, problem solving and most importantly enjoyment.

 Philosophy & Style of Play

The Dunsborough Junior Soccer Club consists of teams from all age groups from 5 – 17 for boys and girls.

Small Sided Football (5 – 12 years).

We offer Small Sided Football which gives the chance for your child to develop their technical skills in a game-based environment, with the focus on technical development, decision making, problem solving and enjoyment.  Small sided games aims to accelerate their problem solving, decision-making and technical skills in a team environment. Using 4 – 6 a-side teams allows your child to learn to play in a smaller environment.

All of our sessions are designed to improve a player’s technique and confidence in the game within a positive and fun developmental environment.

FIFA Youth (13 – 17 Years)

We field Boys, Girls and Mixed teams in all levels of the Leeuwin Naturaliste Junior Soccer Association League FIFA competitions.

Why Join DJSC?

We start with our youngest players (Under 6s) and introduce them to movement, balance and, of course, the fundamentals of the game.

Consistent ideas, terminology and practice structure give players a firm ground to build confidence as a player in a friendly fun environment.

We are a family friendly club and encourage all parents to help out wherever and when ever they can – from coaching, assitant coaching, helping with training, or on game day, Team Manager, as well as in the canteen, fundraising and on our committee.

We hope your child enjoys playing soccer, loves learning new skills and meeting new friends.
