LOCAL ASSOCIATION RULES & RESPONSIBILITIES - 11'S/U, 13'S AND YOUTH FIFA RULES APPLY TO: 11s/u 11 players 2 x 30 minute halves with a ten minute break, size 4 ball 13s/u 11 players 2 x 30 minute halves with a ten minute break, size 4 ball Youth 11 players 2 x 35 minute halves with a ten minute break, size 5 ball AWARDING OF PREMIER POINTS (This only applies to 11's, 13's and Youth League) • 3 points to the Winning team • 0 points to the losing team • 1 point to each team if the game results in a draw If a team forfeits a game the other team is awarded a 3 - 0 win. MATCH CARDS Coaches and managers are to fill in players names (print clearly) of white card. Players’ names to coincide with strip number. This card is to be given to the referee. It then is the responsibility of the referee to complete the card, and to insure that the card is filled our correctly before it is handed in. CLUB BOND Clubs are required to pay the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Junior Soccer Assoc a bond of Fifty Dollars. This bond will be refunded at the end of the season if your club does not incur any of the infringements listed below: 1. Failing to referee. 2. Failing to put nets up prior to starting of first match. 3. Failing to take nets down and returning them to the equipment room. STARTING TIMES Match starting times must be adhered to. If a game starts late for any reason then the time is deducted from the games allotted time. The offending team will be penalised by one goal for each 7 minutes delay to the starting time. This is up the discrection of the opposing team's coach. The match is a forfeit if the match has not commenced by half time. Three points are awarded to the team present. REFEREEING RESPONSIBILITIES This is the responsibility of each club. It is not necessary to be qualified, but a good understanding of the game is important. Rule books can be obtained from the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Junior Soccer Association. Referees are required to inspect all pitches before the start of matches. No player is allowed onto the pitch wearing jewellery or metal studs in their boots. Such items must removed before the player can be cleared to play. This is to ensure the safety of all players. When the game has finished it is the referees responsibility to return the match card to the Busselton Soccer Clubroom (green letterbox) or hand it in at the other venues. PLAYERS RESPONSIBILITIES • To have and show respect for their coach, their clubs and each other. • To understand and respect that not everyone has the same level of ability. • To show respect for the referee and the laws of the game. • To have and show respect for the opposition and to be both gracious winner and a gracious loser. • Always try their best and to be proud of their efforts, and allow for their team-mates, and the opposition, the same privilege. PARENTS RESPONSIBILITIES To help your club achieve its goals by providing support and positive encouragement and comment from the sideline. Please do not: • Abuse the referee if you disagree with a decision. • Shout at your or any other child, including coaching tips. • Engage in any other behaviour that is counter-productive. COACHES RESPONSIBILITES • To impart the above values and goals to the players. • To pass on their knowledge and experience. • Engage I any other behaviour that is counter-productive. CLUB OFFICIAL RESPONSBILITIES To protect and support all of the above principles and values and to ensure that any digressions are dealt with fairly. GAME DISPUTES The referee’s decision is final, however the committee will consider any disputes. A formal letter must be written addressed to the Chairperson. |
