Welcome to the Dunsborough Junior Soccer Club. We are looking forward to another enjoyable season of football at Dunsborough in 2009.

We have made a number of structural changes to the operation of the Dunsborough Junior Soccer Club during the summer months that I believe will significantly improve our ability to provide for our players and coaching staff.

We have devised a new structure for the Committee of our Club which includes a streamlining and combining of certain roles within the club. These additional roles reduce the duties and responsibilities for our various Committee members to a workload that is of a manageable level. We are still searching for a Secretary for the club and will be forced to employ someone if a volunteer cannot be found. So if you are someone who is willing to lend a hand and has good organisational skills I would be interested to hear from you.   

We have moved to create a Match Committee which will be in charge of coaches, ground and pitch issues and the week to week running of the teams; And an Administrative Committee will handle registrations, correspondence, affiliations and oversight.

The Match Committee role will be responsible for allocating Coaches to each Team in consultation with the Administrative committee, along with providing coaching support throughout the season to all the coaches in their area of responsibility. Two committees will significantly reduce the responsibilities of the individuals on the committees in the area of coaching appointments, grading and grading issues and also coaching development.

For some of you, this will be the first time your children participate in a sport. We hope that this is the beginning of many years of fun and excitement for you.
